I am just getting really worried about HP and it's build quality. I need something that will last/ The components are great. Everything I need. It is the perfect laptop for me, except I don't want to be worrying about it constantly breaking =/

THEN STOP READING THE PESSIMISTIC COMMENTS! More people post bad instead of good. I guarantee you that there are WAY more happier customers than dissatisfied. Otherwise HP would be gone.

I'm a happy HP customer like I have been for the last 5-6 years. They are always with me and the laptops I have sustained a lot of rough handling.

If you think negative, then negative will happen. If you think positive, only good will happen.

Then go for the Elitebook line of laptops.

If you're not going to abuse your laptop, then the DV5T is perfect.

Here Xythil , go here and buy this laptop..

    http://www.panasonic.com/business/toughbook/laptop-computers.asp

you won't have any worries at all, you can throw it out of a window if you want. out of your car, (if you drive). you can throw it in a river if you want, and nothing will happen to it, and you won't have any more questions for the DV5.

Yep, the Elitebooks will take a beating and the hinge is probably impossible to crack due the the magnesium/aluminum alloy material used.

But then he'd complain about the price being overprice and HP screwing customers with their business line pricing and how the Elitebook is not a gaming notebook.

Xythil, PLEASE stop worrying. As long as you don't throw rocks at it, or run a car over it, it'll be fine. Just be careful with it.
