I followed the undervolting post that is posted in these forums.

    My system:
    DV5T
    2.26GHz
    4G ram
    1680 screen
    9200M GS vid card
    Hi Cap 6 cell

I have lowered the voltage to the lowest it can go .8750V on all multipliers.
My setup goes up to 8X.
    Starting voltage was 1.1375V.
I'm at the lowest voltage the software allows- .8750V

I am having NO PROBLEMS so far, and it's been running for about 4 hours.
Overall temps have fallen. Running the CPU stress software the overall CPU temps were about 123-124F. That's running at full bore with lowest voltage setting.

I haven't used it in an extended use with the battery yet.

I use my laptop on my lap, actually, quite extensively and the overall temp feels cooler. It's not as cool as my Dell D830 w/ T7300, which has a VERY long lasting battery.
But, overall it's an improvement, and with no noticeable loss of performance.

Very nice. Give it a try.

nu_D, GPUs are already efficient themselves. It's better to not mess w/ them at all.
