    DV5t - screen resolution

    is there a way to configure bigger resolutions than 1280x800 (for example 1440x900) on my hp notebook ?

    you could always try... dunno if it will work, nor wanna try


    now if u buy a screen with higher resolution, then its ok, but with the native display i dont think you could, and if you could not a good idea.

    i'm assuming your screen is a 1280x800 in which case no. go to CONTROL PANEL > Appearance and Personalization > Adjust screen resolution... there you will see all of your resolution options.

    my screen has a default resolution of "1280x800" and i can't go above it . but 9600m gt must support bigger resolutions because dv7 users and also other manufacturers has the same card . how can i go above my screen's native resolution .

    uhh, im pretty sure the issue is that your monitor does not have enough pixels to do what you're asking lol.

    They don't offer an option to get WSXGA for nothing.

    i know if i want extra features ,i must pay much but there's always a trick to do sth . i am gonna buy an external full-hd monitor :(
