When i use my dv5t i often lose connection to any wireless internet i'm connected to. I would be connected to the internet, then lose it, then re-connect again a few min later.. and this goes on throughout the day. Sometimes i'm not able to re-connect and have to manually connect back. The other laptops accessing the same router/internet don't have my problem. I'm pretty sure that all my drivers are updated, along with windows update. Is there anything else I can do to help fix this issue?

Well I would go ahead and uninstall and reinstall drivers if you haven't already. I would then check to see if all the hardware has a good connection. There should be a service manual that will give you a script on how to check cables for your nic card.

I've got the same problem, and I've got an Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini card with Bluetooth.

in forum's hardware section the 5100 agn card is reported to have connection issues by some users you've mentioned.

    Go into device manager
    Open up network adapters
Right click on "Intel(R) WiFI Link 5100 AGN" and select "properties".
Go to the Power Management tab
Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
    Click OK

    That fixed it for me.
