I've downgraded from Vista to XP sp3. At first webcam was working, after about 3 weeks it begun "disconnecting" and giving an all-black image, more and more frequently. After a month it wasn't working at all. I tried all that it's listed here http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=149463 but no result.
At last this http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...lc=en&cc=it&dlc=it& product=1842155&os=228=it worked. Hope it will help.
