    DV6-3023CA won't turn on without power chord

    This is weird. My brother's DV6 will not turn on without the power chord even if the battery has a full charge. I know the battery is working because the icon says the battery is in charge mode and if I disconnect the chord after turning it on, it stays on. But it can't power on without the chord connected.
