Can anyone explain really in simple terms what the difference is between these two units. It seems like the only difference is speed of hard drive and something with the graphics card I don't understand. The link to HP site with specs for both units is as follows:

HP Pavilion dv6-3000 Entertainment Notebook PC series Home & Home Office

Will I notice any difference really?

    Many thanks in advance.

The only difference is the HDD capacity and speed. Both are exactly the same otherwise. The 3070 will perform a little faster. Get that if 500GB is enough for you.

Actually, if you're from Canada, the 3073 seems to be a Costco-only item. Aside from the larger hard drive on the 3073, the 3073 comes with a 2-year warranty via Costco's Concierge Warranty.
