    DV6-3240US Video problen

    I recently bought a HP Pavillion dv6-3240us and have had several video chashes while surfing the net. I get a blackish and gray screen and it says windows has been shut down to protect my computer,I have downloaded and installed the latest driver for my ati 4250 also have updated the bios from version F23 to F27 and yet i still get an occastional crash any advice would be helpfull.

    Guess nobody else can figure it out either HuH !!!!!!!!! well anyway guess I should say thanks for at least viewing my post . I ran a virus scan and found a couple viruses so I formatted and did a fresh install of win7 home pre. and my problem seems to be gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
