This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Has anyone found a source for exact replacement feet for the DV6000/6700 or perhaps something better ?

    I have found some generic "screw covers" (that's what they call the little bumpers on the lid that hold the face of the display off of the keyboard when the lid is closed) on eBay. Not perfect (could be a little thicker) but the price is right.
