    DV6000 LCD Inverter Board

    I replaced this board and display worked for approx. one day, now no display again, notebook still diplays fine on external monitor, any ideas.

    Yeah - what's the Product # on the service label under your system? If you've got one of the DV6000's with an AMD Turion CPU, it's likely one of the bad ones covered under the HP Limited Warranty Service Enhancement. Actually, you can just go there and match your Product # to the ones on the list. I came across 2 just this past month that were on the list.

    Could be a stuck lid switch? I'm not sure where the switch is on the dv6000. There were lots of dv2000's with stuck switches.
