I just want to know what the average temperatures are during Idle, work and gaming. Esp. gaming.

Also, how hot is "too hot" for these laptops (Speaking about the GPU!)?

Right now, at idle and work, it varies between 35-50*C.

During gaming, the highest I've seen is 70*C.

I just want to know if I'm in the normal range !

    Thanks.

Yes, the temperature is fine. When gaming, a high load is placed on the graphics card, so it heats up. Some graphics cards will reach more than 70 C, buts a normal temperature. You might be able to bring the temperature down a little, using a notebook cooler, if you find the notebook heats up alot, or you are still concerned about the temeperature.

Yeah I was just checking. I've got a notebook cooler under my laptop, but it recently broke so I am looking into the Zalman ZM-NC1000.

I know it's normal to heat up, I just wasn't sure on the values =)!

    Thanks much.

My nvidia go is currently running at 54 degrees C, finished running FEAR about 10 mins ago. Usually idle's at about 51-52.
