Does the DV6000's remote work over IR?

And if so, any ideas on how I can get an IR keyboard to work?

    OS is Vista Home Premium.

Sorry, it's not a real IR port. Windows can't get IR signals from it. It basically reads the codes from the remote and pretends that you pressed the corresponding keys on your keyboard.
