I just bought HP DV6000. I noticed that when screen changes (scroll up, down, or when you browse and page changes), I can hear the hum/noise from the screen. Is this normal?

It is probably your processor changing power states, not the screen. It is like a small high pitched squealing noise. This is caused by the toroidal coils (like miniature transformers) that convert electricity to a different voltage so that your processor can use it. There is a whole thread about it somewhere, and many HP laptops, as well as other brands, and even some desktop motherboards have this problem. You can usually fix it with a program called RMClock, and you can learn how to use it in the Undervolting Thread.

This is the undervolting guide. There is also a thread about the toroidal coils somewhere around NBR.

I went to that thread about the RMClock. But they don't mention that it can be used to eliminate the humming. I just want to make sure that I modify correct thing
The noise/humming will appear when Internet Explorer changes page, load page, I scroll up/down a document. Basically, it'll noise when there is changing activity on the screen. So is RMClock is way to go to fix? -
Untick the C4 sleep states in Advanced CPU settings then hit Apply.
