I want to know if DV6000T has the same type of touchpad material as used in Compaq V3000 series. I'm very interested in DV6000t, but my only worry is the touchpad issue. I have a friend with Compaq V3000 series, and the touchpad is a gloss, gray metal-looking surface, which I have lots of trouble when using it because it STICKS to your fingers. I find it hard to glide my finger to move the cursor fast.

    Can anyone tell me ?
I really hate that touchpad in V3000

yep its the same. I have to say though after getting used to it, I prefer the glossy/smooth touchpad over the more common textured type.
