I saw an attractive price on this notebook tonight and i'm thinking about picking one up... it was a standard boxed model w/ AMD Turion TL-50/1GB DDR2/80GB 5400RPM/LightScribe DL DVD±RW/15.4WXGA.

I've searched around the forums a bit but most of the posts seem to about how the C2D is better. Well, I don't need a lot of processing power in a notebook so the Turion would be fine. My desktop will continue to be my primary system so I don't need to invest a lot in a notebook. I'm just looking for something that will get me away from the desk occassionally for general use stuff and some light digital imaging, etc. Nothing crazy.

My concern is battery life with the stock 6-cell battery. I was hoping to get some info from other 6000Z/6110CA users out there on the topic. I'd rather not have to spring for the 12-cell and increase the price/weight further.

    Thanks.
