I was looking at the reviews for the DV6000Z model, and one had a 12cell battery, and the other had a 6 cell. I want to know from anyone who has a 6 cell, and from people who havea 12 cell so i can fin out if i really need a 12 cell. The guy with the 6 got a said: "4.5" hours while the guy with the 12 got 5:35. If the 6 cell can pull off 4.5h then i don't need the 12. And for reference the articles:

Thank you all very much, sorry for the trouble.

Perhaps he was using the screen on the lowest or something else which would account for the differential.

Hrm. If the screen was on lowest then i would have to see a screenshot/screen video of it with the lowest setting so i can see whether i find the lowest setting suitable for viewing. Hrm. Thank you for replying.

There is no way you get 4.5 hrs for 6 cells, unless you mod your battery pack to high capacity per cell. There do have 2600 mAh cell on market. If you do that, you can make 4.5hrs for 6 cells. But if you use HP original battery pack, on average, you will get 2.5 hr.

2.5h sucks on ice. I think i'll get the 12 cell. Although i'll be attached to the wall for the whole time 'cause i'll be inside. Though you never know when you need to do that thing that takes 5hrs.
