Hey guys, just got a new dv6000t. I've been a proud owner of a dv2000t since they came out, but my new dv6000t came with Vista and has changed some things in the video department. Here's my questions:

    1. My dv2000t with Windows XP and Nvidia card had an option for "dynamic processing," which allowed the computer's processor to scale up or down depending on the needs of the processor when running on battery power to save battery life. Where is this in Vista on my dv6000t?

    2. Also, my dv2000t, in the Nvidia control panel, had an option to put "black bars" on the sides of the screen for non-widescreen games instead of stretching the image. But my dv6000t Nvidia control panel is as bare bones as you can get. Is there a better Nvidia driver download for this computer to get that could give me this option? I only have the driver that came with this computer, since on HP's website, under my model number, there is no graphics driver download.

Thanks a lot for any assistance!

    John

Both questions can easily be answered with "Vista is new and needs some time for developers to create better drivers."
