    Hello all,

Newbie on this forum (but not to forums in general - I am on mostly car forums by same username)

I wanted to know, did any dv600t users upgrade from Win XP to Vista 64-bit?

I bought mine in September with XP Pro and just received my Vista Home Pro DVD. Issue is I need to decide whther I want to go 32-bit or 64-bit route and need your input.

    Thanks

At the moment, Windows Vista 64-bit will do nothing in terms of sped, because there are no 64-bit products on the consumer market. They will not be available for quite a while yet. Also, Windows Vista still has a few driver bugs, and small problems here and there, and they will take time to fix. Driver problems may not be present with Vista on your notebook, however, some other models from HP and other manufacturers have had problems.
