I upgraded my hp dv6113us to vista home premium about 2 months ago and I believe that it was a mistake.

I wish to downgrade my os back to xp. I've found some guides but it seems that it will take a very long time to do. Is there an easier way to do this?

i currently have the upgrade anytime to vista dvd and the 3 recovery discs of xp mce 2005

Nope...there's no downgrade wizard...just the upgrade wizard. You (unfortunately) have to start from scratch...

I feel your pain...but I shouldn't take more than a few days to do right.

Why would it be so hard to downgrade to XP? Couldn't you use the XP recovery disc to install XP back?
