    Hi,

My gf's laptop has this problem lately while surfing the net.

    The below prompt appears

The laptop is connected to the net via wireless router. Any idea what's wrong and how to solve it?

i dont know.... thats pretty odd...

you should make sure that your router is turned on and is operating. Maybe try connecting to your router with a different computer. Does is do the same thing?

I used to have a simuler problem, I solved it by going to Internet properties in, IE > connections> then clicked the box that says * Never dial a connection*
Havent had the problem since, Might want to give it a try.
