If the dv6226us comes with Windows Vista, you can safely say with 100% probability, that the hard disk will be using a NTFS file system, since one of the requirements for a successful install of Vista is a partition on the hard disk formatted to the NTFS file system.

To check, go to Computer, then left-click once on the partition you want to check. At the bottom of the screen, you will see the capacity and free space of the partition, along with what file system the partition is formatted to.

Almost certainly (99.9999999999999999...%) it's formatted in NTFS, since your hard drive has a capacity of 120GB, and FAT32 (as implemented in the Windows formatter) is limited to file systems of 32GB or less, as described in this Wikipedia article.
