Hi I seem to be having issues with my HP laptop. Whenever i just close the lid or even set it to hibnate via the system menu (which is VERY slow BTW) I come back later to find that it's "on" so that when I open the lid it's at the login screen immediatley. Is this sleep mode? Because the laptop gets very hot and drains the battery if it's not plugged in. It's really annoying and I can't figure out what's doing it especially from hibernate!!

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Thanks
    Alan
