I've got most of XP working on this laptop after following the guide to "re-installing WinXP on the DV6000", but I can't get the NIC to register.... which also means I can't get it online, etc, etc.

For whatever reason, the Intel Pro10/100 set only registers the 1394 nic... I don't have a regular 10/100 or gigabyte lan coming up. And HP is no help.... they "don't support the rollback from Vista".

    Any suggestions'd be welcome

    Thanks

Actually, I just got the NIC running. Does anyone know what the " system devices" that aren't working are???
