Hi, I'm interested in purchasing the HP w2207 22" monitor to have as an extended desktop.

My only question is: will the GO 6150 be able to handle my laptops resolution of 1280x800 plus the monitors native resolution of 1680x1050?

I would hate to buy it, and then find out I can't use it at full resolution.

*note, I have no intention of playing games while utilizing both monitors.

    Thanks
    -Tim

    thanks

The only reason I ask is because on the nvidia site it lists the GO 6150's max resolution as being 1900x1200, but it isn't clear if this is for total resolution of all monitors, or if it is per monitor, or if it is total resolution of external monitors.

also, I've been reading that many people have a problem with large LCDs flickering when hooked up to a laptop.
    Is this a common problem?

Sorry to bump this, but I've been searching high and low and I just can't seem to figure out how common of a problem LCD monitor flicker is.
It seems to happen a lot with the HP w2207, where the screen fickers when the laptop is running on AC power.

Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?
If no one does, then hopefully this isn't a problem anymore.
