Is there a new way to reinstall Windows Vista on the new HP notebook line? I recall Orev stating he figured out a way, but never released it. Does anyone know a solution to this?

I just want to note that you can reinstall just fine if you use the serial number on the bottom of your laptop. My guide is only to help you avoid calling microsoft when you do it.

We definitely appreciate your hard work, Orev. It's just I haven't heard from you about the new method, so it's reassuring to hear the good news.

So there are no driver issues? Is that it? Because I have purchased a separate copy of Vista Ultimate (when it came out) and would like to use THAT.

Thx 4 info, I haven't gotten mine in the mail yet! :)

You'll need some drivers, downloadable from HP's web site.
