This is the first time Ive used a coupon for ordering a pc, I dont know if they offer this all the time, or if its something exceptional, what do you guys think?

here are the specs of what I ordered...

    - Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
    - AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-62 (2.1 GHz, 512KB+512KB L2 Cache )
    - 15.4" WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800)
    - 2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
    - 128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
    - HP Imprint (Radiance) + Fingerprint Reader + Microphone
    - 802.11b/g WLAN
    - 160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
    - SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support
    - $30 OFF HP ExpressCard Digital/Analog TV Tuner!!
    - 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
    - System Recovery DVD with Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)

Before tax I paid $807 for this notebook, for those specs on an hp do you think I got a good price, or did I fall into some stupid coupon trap?

You got a good deal. I paid the same for a Vostro, and did not do as well.

Think the processor will hold its own compared to a core 2 duo? I didnt take the final processor upgrade cause 75$ for 100mhz seemed like a bad value.

Also, I didnt choose the bluetooth option, I hope im not missing out on anything really.

There is a $400 off coupon for the dv6500z when you get the price to $1199 or above. I just ordered my own yesterday with the coupon. :)

Hey Guys, I configured it again on their website with the 30% off coupon and it came out to less than before, so I called them back up and they issued me a 29$ refund, so I ended up paying 779 for my notebook!

Also, Fedex just wins the universe, my laptop shipped with the standard free shipping, and it went from CHINA to my HOUSE(wisconsin) in 2 DAYS!!!!
