    DV6500t Replacement?

    Is there going to be an upgrade of the dv6500t anytime soon (in a year or so)? Looking to buy the dv6500t, but will hold off if in a year or so there will be a newer model for the same price as the dv6500t costs now.

    hp updates their notebooks every quarter... so who knows what they have next. i hope in design wise that it'll be better than their dv6XXX and dv2XXX and DV9XXX and HDX series.

    They came out with the dv2500 Broadband Wireless edition, plus introducing the newer Core 2 Duo's like the T7250. Not a major upgrade, but they do tend to come out with stuff every few months.

    Can't predict the future, but whenever Penryn comes out, HP will definately incorporate it into their systems.

    What can't you do on a Celeron? It's just faster as the processor becomes better.
