    DV6600 series?

    So did anyone hear anything about the dv6600s. Is this a new series like the dv6500s or is this something that is a region specific variant of the dv6000? You can find them listed at HP when searching but there is only system specs for one model.

    And I found the dv6600 when giving someone, on here, a link to this pdf manual.

    6600 is what happens when you run out of 6500 numbers.

    Pretty much what Lithus said . The retail version runs out of model number pretty quickly considering the different configurations they sell. Ocasionally they do have major updates like the dv6500 but usually there is nothing to distinguish between the various dv6x00 series.

    Still looks like the 8400M GS to me.
