    DV6748ca - Lightscribe or HD DVD ?

    Bestbuy.ca lists this model as having lightscribe, hp.ca lists it as having the HD DVD ROM, can anyone confirm which type it carries?

    i would think it is a lightscribe. dont quote me on this but i dont think preconfigured laptop offer HD DVD ROM reading capabilities.

    Most lkely a LS drive. confirm with the store first

    HD-DVD lost the war and stopped production, do not buy one

    Yeah Blue Ray is the winner. HD DVD is a sunken ship now.

    DV6772NR came pre-configured with the HD-DVD. At what I paid for it, it's still alot cheaper than a custom built HP.com model.
