This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Ok so the new dv6s came out today at 30% off so I would be stupid to keep the one I got in the mail today at only $230 off... but I'm lazy and am sick of not having a laptop.

    That said, I just got this today and I love it aside from the ty trackpad pointer response. It either doesn't respond well enough so I have to scroll like 3 times to get to a corner and x out a window... or it overscrolls and it becomes impossible to click what I want.

    Anybody have good suggestion for trackpad settings? I would really appreciate any help.
