    I recently purchased a DV6TQE 6100 series laptop with a Core i7 @ 2.0 ghz, 6 gigs of RAM, and 1GB Radeon HD 6770m graphics card.

I intend to game quite a bit on this machine and I noticed that when I was playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2, my cores were reaching temps of 85 degrees Celsius, a bit worrying to me. Does anyone know of any good cooling pads that function well with my particular model? I have the 9-Cell Battery as well on this thing, so I'm looking for a pad that won't interfere with my battery...

    Thanks in advance!

make sure you get one where the fan (or at least decent airflow) will be under and to the left of the track pad. My cooler has the fan in the center, and it does absolutely nothing for the temps.

    Thanks for the responses, guys.

I like the design of the U2 with the movable fans, but do you know if the 9-cell battery that I have jutting out the back will hinder its cooling? That's probably what I'm most worried about. Thanks again.

Just found out that I can run this laptop without a battery when it's plugged in! Well, I suppose that settles any issues with the 9-cell.
