In my wife's Samung that run Windows 7 Home Premium, she could make Open Lid to do Nothing. However, I couldn't find that option in my DV6T running Windows 7 Home Premium. Is it a feature that is up to how the manufactures wants it to be?

You can change the setting for lid close, but I don't think you can change it for lid opening.
