I'm heading off to college soon and am in need of a nice laptop that is portable, pretty powerfull for some gaming/classwork and is well built.

I've come down to the envy 14 and the dv6t se.

Which would be more suited for college life? I know the envy is smaller but the battery life is less from what I've read and I can't afford the battery slice right now(which adds two pounds anyway). Plus I've seen people say the dv6t is light for a 15 inch laptop. The envy is really nice, just expensive

I can get more for less on the dv6t se with the same graphics card and even a touch screen (btw is that Just a gimmick or does it work well? I plan on saving the 150$ just asking)

    Any suggestions?
