    DV6t 6190us graphics driver October really?

    When will HP post a newer graphics driver for the 6770m/intel?
    There have been like 6 newer ones from AMD since October.

    I have a DV6_6135tx with the HD 6770m, for a while I only used the drivers from the AMD site, something happen I can't remember just what but I couldn't get Catalyst to download with the rest of the AMD drivers. Cut to the chase, I went back to HP and downloaded their drivers and they blow the drivers from the AMD site away! :rolleyes:

    I feel so stupid because for a long time I was getting my butt whipped when playing online thinking the HD 6770m was a very average card, but with the HP drivers I do pretty well. :eek:

    I don't think they will update the driver anymore.

    Why wouldn't they update it, it is still a new chip/laptop? If not everyone is going to have to download the newest AMD and Intel drivers to get new games working right and the desktop.

    Because the driver is stable (compare to new one), an get most of the work done. It may not be the most optimized but it not gonna crash peoples computer periodically.
