HP has the icon that shows that this laptop has a metal finish. I just saw an unboxing on youtube and the guy said it was plastic. Is it plastic or metal?

If it is plastic what exactly does HP mean by metal finish? Plastic painted to look like metal?

HP has a new steel grey finish but I'm not sure whether it is actual metal or not. It looks like metal in pictures.

Here are some enlarged pictures of the steel grey finish that I found.

I'm thinking the original "umber" was the better choice, IMO. Sleeker. This steel grey finish reminds me of too much of the previously defective series with the SandyBridge issues.

wish they had video or something the pics make it look metal but I talked to a rep and they said its a metal finish but its not metal.

the umber attrachs fingerprints which annoys me to bad they cant just do real metal
