My computer will randomly wake up from sleep mode after a few hours.

I went to the event viewer to see what was causing the computer to wake up and it is the Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller and there is no option in the device manager to disable it from waking up the computer.

The only things I have plugged into my computer's usb ports are an optical mouse and a notebook cooler.

    Please help. Thanks.

In the device manager under the Root Hub (there may be many of them) go to properties then the Power Management tab and be sure ALL of them do not have "Allow this device to wake the computer" checked. The root hubs are all for the USB 2.0 unfortunately. There is a separate one for the 3.0

You may need to move your devices to other USB ports if you dont want this happening as I also dont see a power management tab

I'm going to move my mouse to one of the 2.0 ports, hopefully this will resolve the issue. Thanks.
