What does the latest generation have? I did a search of the entire forum and didn't get a single mention of UEFI anywhere. Search tool must be broken.

i thought they were all the 3k series. They need to change model numbers from series to series. i'm going to assume 6k. I ordered one yesterday for 769.

    2.0ghz quad, 8 gigs of ram and a 6770.

I found the info on the link you provided though. Thanks.

I ordered a crucial c300 128gb to go with it and was just wondering how quickly I'll be able to get it to boot. Since it has a UEFI bios i'm gonna assume around 15-20 seconds.

Yeah, it's 6k. 3k was last year's model (which only had the regular and select editions, with the select edition having quad-core options), 4k was the one released in January, 5k was taken care of by top men (Top. Men.) and was skipped, and 6k is the current model.

Anyway, all of the owners are calling it a BIOS, so if it is UEFI, it functions more like a BIOS, it seems.
