    Hi gang,

Have had win 7 on my lappy for a while, and everything running fine.

Today I noticed that I no longer have control thru the touch bar above the KB.

For example, mute and wi-fi. Though if I mute and turn off thru windows mobility center, the lights do change.

Volume will appear fi I touch it but it bounces back to where I set it in windows mobility, Itouching the + or - doesn't reduce and allow it to stay there.

Forgot what SW pack controls this so I could reinstall, etc.

Has me scratching my head, lat time I used the laptop was a few days ago in a waiting room, and I turned off wifi with no issues because they didnt have access ....

    Marc

An update: Decided to hard reset my system: Power down, pull adapter and battery, hit pwr switch for 45-1 min, then reboot.

    Fixed!

But I'm not sure of the cause in the first place. I KNEW my system was running ok!

    Go figure ...
