    DV7 2070ED Backlight Keyboard

    In own a Pavillion DV7 2070ED. I spilled wine over the keyboard... :mad:
    My insurance will cover this so money isn't really the problem. So I was thinking about buying a backlight keyboard instead of the original black one (which works really annoying in lowlight conditions).

    Now I found a thread about backlight keyboard but I'm unable to find out which backlight keyboard is compatible with my laptop. On the motherboard there is input for the keyboard-backlight. So thats not the problem.

    im pretty sure it is not possible to put in a backlit keyboard or find the right one

    Hp doesn't make a backlit keyboard for it...so unless there's an aftermarket one (which i HIGHLY doubt) then it doesn't exist. Just replace it with the standard one and learn how to type...

    I'm not the only who uses the notebook. And not everyone can type like me.
    As far as I found out the keyboard for the HDX18/16-series are the same layout and have the same mounting. Only thing I can't find out is if the dimensions are the same.
