DV7 6100 updated driver question

Hi, I sort of had this posted in the owners lounge, but it's starting to get a little buried, so I decided to make a new thread about it real quick. I originally had a problem installing the new driver package that came out not too long ago. The drivers didn't seem to install correctly and the information section of CCC would still say "catalyst 11.5", so I followed some advice from a reply and uninstalled, rebooted to safe mode, ran driver sweeper, reboot, then install the new driver package. This seemed to work, but in the CCC information section it now doesn't even have a line for catalyst version at all. Based on the catalyst control center version, though, it does seem to have 11.9 installed, but I'm wondering about all the other information as well, like 2d driver version, direct3d version, and all that. I'm going to include a screen shot in hopes that someone who has the new drivers installed can tell me if everything is correct or not, and if someone is wrong, can give me any more advice on getting everything installed right. Thanks!

 

I've heard many people say don't update the CCC portion of the drivers. My experience has taught me to stay far away from AMD GPU's. Good luck!
