Hi guys. I just got the DV7 Quad with FHD display. The display is the AUO B173HW01 v5.

I'm calibrating the display with the new X-Rite i1 Display Pro and when profiling I'm asked what technology (backlight) type the display uses (CCFL, White LED, or RGB LED). I know the display uses LED but is it WLED or RGBLED?

This document mentions it uses RGB Vertical Stripe but I'm not sure if that mean it's RGB LED.

Another forum post stated the screen is RGB LED but it's unclear where they got that info or if it's reliable.

Anyone got more info on this? I'm an ocd photographer and want to make sure I'm using the i1 Display Pro to its fullest potential. Thanks :)

You might want to check HWINFO64, as for the LG It mentions it is the RGB color on display type.
