I see there is no SSD option for the DV7T quad edition has this always been the case? I was thinking about getting one of these now that they offer a 1080 screen.

Not sure where the 160gb SSD option went, but it used to be there. They come with a second HDD caddy, but no SATA cable. Most are waiting on an aftermarket option, as the secondary kit from HP is overpriced, and has been taking forever to ship. I ordered mine with the 640gb single, and as soon as the aftermarket 3rd party cable is available, I'll be dropping an SSD in as well.
