Hey everyone, I've had several issues with the audio on my dv7, most of which I have resolved. One thing that has not gone back to normal is the "clicking" sound that is heard when adjusting the volume via the touch buttons, as well as the on-screen volume display. I could definitely do without both of these things, but now that they're not working, I want to know what's causing it.

Do the audio drivers control this feature, or is it the QuickLaunch/touch button drivers? All my drivers are up to date, but I understand I may need to reinstall them sometimes to fix a problem. I just didn't want to reinstall any drivers that I didn't have to.

    Thanks in advance!

Neither, it is the HP QuickTouch Software that controls the on screen display and sounds.

I believe that this is the latest version, 1.00D, not 100% sure but I am confident it will work.
