    DV7 w/factory SSD

    I just saw someone post that HP sent him his DV7 w/SSD and the OS was installed on the HDD.

    Is this HP's standard install for dual drive systems? Or was it a fluke?

    the OS was installed on the HDD, not the SSD...WTH!?!?!!?

    i just got mine today...now i gotta reinstall windows on the SSD

    Mine was also installed on the mechanical not the SSD. Which didn't matter to me as I was putting Win7 Ult. as soon as I opened it. But yeah they are idiots.
