i have update the quickplay all driver software is up to date.
i bought bangkok dangerous just to try out the blue ray but all it does is say loading and does nothing . need help

The second to last post fixed my problems. The last post offers a more "professionally sound" fix, while admonishing the previous method. All I can say, is use common sense, and more than likely, one of the two will work. Good luck.
Edit: One bad disc error doesn't necessarily mean their is a problem with your unit. I don't recommend investing hundreds of $$, but you might want to borrow or rent a few discs to make sure the one disc isn't defective. -
problem solved. no thanks to hp support . they keep on telling me to update quickplay. it already been updated. i don't know what my buddy did but was typing something and it worked. the dv7-1020us need a better screen.
who know where to get new lcd screen for better resolution
