I didn't have an option of choosing a tv tunner with my Dv7T when I ordered it. I saw some pictures of a built in remote controller. Do they all have this?

I do not have HDTV right now, but I do have cable. If it comes with a tv tuner is there a way to hook it up so I can watch tv in a window on my computer?

Tv tuner used to be an OPTION. It's no longer offered on customizable dv7's. My guess is yours does not have a tv tuner. Check your hardware in control panel. Or take a look on the right side of your dv7. Toward the back where the AC plug goes, right in front of that there may be a modem port (or it's closed because there is no modem) and right in front of that will be a small hole which is the tv tuner port (or it will be closed if you don't have the tuner). If you DO have the tuner then it will work with regular cable.

I hope I have a tv tuner in it, but it's not the end of the world. I won't have mine until next month it looks like.

Does anyone know if they make an after market one that can plug into the usb port or anything like that?
