Its starting to get annoying, only being able to see the Percentage and not the remaining time. Is there a way to make it display the Battery life time? You all know what i'm talking about -- like in Dell laptops, they say

    "99% 3 hours 10 minutes remaining"

is there a way to make my DV7T show the time left?

    Hello,
Windows Vista Mobility center will show you how much time is remaining. If you left click on your Battery icon - Then select Mobility Center - You will see the % charged and time remaining. Hp offers power plans and battery diagnostics.
    Regards,

hello, THe unit needs to be running on battery power in order to display the time remaining. I should have mentioned that previously.

Yeah - Unplugged and still only shows the % remaining, no time left or anything.

I have this problem with my hp dv4t 1028us as well. I did a clean install of Vista Home Premium, and I only see the percentage. I would like to see the time remaining.
