Hey guys I'm new to this forum... I got a DV7TQE with the following specs a few months ago and just put the second Hardrive caddy cable on order... Once it comes in I plan to put two identicle hardrives in my laptop and configure them in Raid 0. What I dont know is if this computer has the software needed in the Bios to set two hardrives in RAID in the first place...
I would appreciate if someone could get me this info and let me know how to
1) Tell me if this laptop is cappable of RAID 0
2) Tell me if I can make a bit by bit copy of the current OS and recopy it onto a a newly set RAID 0 Array
3) Walk me through the setup or post the link to a guide doing this on a LAPTOP, I know they exist for desktops, but im on a DV7TQE
Here are my laptops specs:

Yea sure, no problem, here is the email sent to me on order conformation

1 x 2nd HDD Cable kit for HP dv7t-6000, dv7-6000 series,dv7qte
(HP-dv7t-6000) = $28.95
------------------------------------------------------
Sub-Total: $28.95
United States Postal Service (Priority Mail (2 - 3 days)): $6.85
Discount Coupon: FB072808 : -$1.45
Total: $34.35 -
So it would be around $35 for the cable,
THe caddy is included in the computer though... If you pop open the plastic cover you will see two caddies, the primary one has the current hardrive in it and unscrewing the second caddy will show that it is empty, all you do is screw in your harddrive and plug one end of the cable to your hardrive, the other end to the motherboard
... Sadly RAID 0 doesn't seem that easy...
DV7TQE Raid 0 Help please?
