I installed skype on my new dv7t and it says that another application is using my webcam. I cannot figure out what it may be as I uninstalled the cyberlink crap as well....any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

I had this exact same problem on my hdx9494nr. The way I finally fixed it was by going into control panel/device manager and uninstalling the web cam from device manager, Then rebooting my laptop. On boot up it will reinstall the hardware and you should be good to go :).
