I got the PC used, and when I did, the audio devices had no drivers. After installing drivers for the Audio device [Connexant AMC Audio] I found that my left speaker was scratchy. I plugged in headphones and again the left speaker was scratchy. So I pulled open the audio controls and with my little experience tried to diagnose the issue at hand. I turned down the left speaker exclusively and the left speaker alone turned to a mute. But when I turned the right speakers volume down I found that both the right and left speakers had muted. So now i believe that the left speaker mimics the sound of the right speaker, and poorly at that. If anyone could help, that would be greatly appreciated.
